When to get it checked
Bring the cutting head, guard and any loose parts with the machine if it is safe to do so. For petrol models, tell us roughly how old the fuel is and whether the issue started after refuelling. Do not run equipment with a damaged guard or an unsecured head.
Common signs to mention
- Difficult starting or an engine that will not idle
- Power drops under throttle
- Cutting head will not feed or retain line
- Excessive vibration or a damaged guard
What to have handy
Make and model if visible, a short description of the fault, and when it last ran normally. If the machine is unsafe to operate, stop using it and call before transporting it.
Not sure which service fits? Call and describe the machine. We can point you to the right repair conversation.
