When to get it checked
Service requirements differ between machines. Share the brand and model if you know them, how often it is used, and when it was last maintained. A clean deck and a sharp, correctly fitted blade help the machine cut more cleanly; never handle a blade without first making the mower safe.
Common signs to mention
- Seasonal check before regular mowing
- A mower that is harder to pull-start than usual
- Poor cutting even though the grass is dry
- Uncertainty about oil, air filter or blade condition
What to have handy
Make and model if visible, a short description of the fault, and when it last ran normally. If the machine is unsafe to operate, stop using it and call before transporting it.
Not sure which service fits? Call and describe the machine. We can point you to the right repair conversation.
