When to get it checked
Repair needs vary with the make, model, age and condition of the mower. Before bringing it in, note when the problem began, whether it happens hot or cold, and any recent fuel or maintenance changes. If a blade, wheel or handle feels loose, stop using the machine until it can be checked.
Common signs to mention
- Hard starting or no start
- Engine hunts, surges or cuts out
- Uneven cut, vibration or a loose-feeling blade
- Fuel or oil leaks, smoke or an unusual noise
What to have handy
Make and model if visible, a short description of the fault, and when it last ran normally. If the machine is unsafe to operate, stop using it and call before transporting it.
Not sure which service fits? Call and describe the machine. We can point you to the right repair conversation.
